{3:37} Sixty Sec Summary:

{4:09} High Points: Authentic School Day; the principal’s office, Winni, balanced writers: Carol Black and Neal Marlens.

{18:10} Low Points: Defensiveness of Suburbia; rushed storytelling; and nostalgia trap

{33:47} MVPs: As a younger sibling, Drew felt the older brother and younger brother portrayal was perfect. Jimbo loved the opening tone/mood.

{48:56} Crabman Award: Winnie’s bro, Brian Cooper, by unanimous decision.

{50:20} Dangling Threads of Interest: 22 minute sitcom pilots vs 42 minute; The Kiss; nostalgia and art; Illegal streaming and Scientology ads.

{1:07:30} Watch or Rewatch: Strong rewatch. Drew put the first season on hold at the library, it’s 5 more episodes and he is psyched. Drew invites you to watch along and he will report back after finishing season one. Dwayne, Pilots and Petards recommends the same to you sir.

{1:09:26} To Hoist or Not to Hoist?: Very solid Not Hoist.

  1. I really enjoyed the episode guys. My high points were Jim’s non-sequiturs about his brother and Drew’s Cyclopean attempt to relate to Suburbia. Please cut the adds until you have real sponsors.

  2. Yeah man, I agree. But Drew loves them. Viewers, if you feel the same as Will. Send us more feedback.

Will, what was that city you told me about where people were fleeing the subs in the 80s???

  3. Best Pilots and Petards to date. The show drifted a bit at times but I found myself enjoying those segments just as much. Keep it up and looking forward to more pilots.
